Thanks for the replies.

Doesn't look like many people have them. I'm guessing that perhaps for the price they might as well go for japanese ones for the bling and look. I just ordered them yesterday 6pot and 4pot. I"ll let you guys know how they are.

they feel great.. however i haven't tracked the Evo with them on yet so i can't give a comparison to the normal 14" 6/4 stoptech kit that i have on the Z...

Thanks Chebosto for the link, it was a great read.

I think the OE evo brembo are very similar to the nissan one, am i correct? If so what's your take on the braking between the two?

the only difference for the Trophy vs Normal is lighter weight calipers and the monotone grey/pewter coloring. There is also slight sizing differences between the two 6 piston caliper widths-- in my particular case, wheel fitment was slightly cumbersome as i had to run a 5mm to clear the spoke designs on the 18x9.5 +22 CE28n on the EVO, but it would clear a TE37 of the same size and offset just fine... minor setback on my part as i had to get extended studs.

I very much like both kits-- they offer a very solid brake feel, still need to get to a road coarse with the Evo with the trophy, but the color scheme make it very non-chalant. i like it as it goes well with my theme. heh. its not out there like my red calipers on the Z.

Thanks for your input. Interesting that they decided to change up the piston size. Do you recall what the differences are? I think three other big upgrades to the Trophy is the thru bolt design, the top bracket, and anodizing as oppose to powdercoating. What were your feelings on the Evo going from the OE brembo to the Trophies?

There is no change in piston size, he was referring to better wheel fitment with some wheels due the extra machining on the Trophy calipers.
