Changing Pads....
If you have the Brembos:
1. Jack car
2. Remove rim
3. There will be two pins on the outside of the caliper. Locate these steel pins.
4. On each pin is a smaller retaining pin that goes through the middle of each steel pin. Grab each of the two smaller pins and pull them out using needle-nose pliars.
5. Pull the two larger steel pins.
6. Pick up the shim that came flying out and set it aside.
7. Grab the outer pad and yank it out. Pull away from the center hub. Next, do the same to the inside pad.
8. (Now reversing) Replace each pad, compressing the brake pistons if necessary with your hand.
9. Replace one steel pin and its retaining pin.
10. Replace the shim and hold it in place.
11. Replace second steel pin and its smaller retaining pin.
5 minutes later you are done with one wheel and are drinking your second beer (you did drink one before you started, right?).
