Hi everyone, just looking for some info. I've tried searching and haven't found anything...

I am looking to buy a set of stock Z springs and when I met up with the guy, the markings on the springs where as follows:

Front - 1 purple only

Rear - 2 purple only

I couldn't find any reference to these markings. The springs supposedly came off a 2006 350Z convertible.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

[Plan to put them on an 06 G35 coupe - wife's car]

 

z springs are not the same as g springs.,. diff rates.

 

stock Z springs will lower a G.


I just checked the stock suspension i saved from my 04, the rear spring i grabbed (didn't check both) had two red dots, and one purple. The one front I looked at had a single pink dot.

 

I'm aware that they are different spring rates - that is not the issue. I've looked around and read about the unrevised vs revised springs, etc...

What I need help with is what springs these are.
