Default Endless ss-y brake pads are good?

Does anyone know if Endless ss-y pads are good? If not which pads are better. I currently have Hawk HPS pads on my 07 350Z.

IF they are half as good as the Endless SS-S, then they are 10X better than the HPS.

I've been using the SS-S for years now and they are great for the track and autocross.

For everyday street use, I'd stay away from any high-performance pads and get generic lifetime pads from Autozone, OReilly, Carquest, etc. Especially if cold and rainy.

I second this. The SSS were the best set of pads I've run on for the street and even some track day use.

Unfortunately Endless doesn't make the SS-S anymore but I suspect the SS-Y is the replacement. I haven't compared specs from the old SS-S to the SS-Y to see if that is true or not. I'll need to do it soon though as my current set are getting below 30% pad remaining.

how's this compared to Ferodo D2500? I think Ferodo has slight higher coefficient friction than Endless ss-y.
i also have HPS but not so happy with it.

SSY is the replacement for the SSS

WAY less dust vs the DS2500

Would you say that SSY has better initial bite than DS2500? Looks like they cost similar

I have these on my FD and I have no complaints. At first they made tons of brake dust but I think that was more because I had the rotors nickle plated. Now the brake dust is minimal.
