Default Aftermarket Sways w/ Stock Susp.

Has naybody installed aftermarket sway bars, Nismo, 350evo, Cusco , doesn't matter really, with the stock shocks and springs. If so can you let me know what difference this has made. My car has a little of the bounce issues as well but it doesn't really bother me as it doesn't do it all the time. Only on certain roads.
I plan on getting coilovers or shocks sometime after summer 04, would it be better to get the shocks and sways together at the same time or would i notice a diference in handling with just the sways for now. Thanks. Looking for Flatter ride thru corners and turns.

The sways are great by themselves, I put them on before getting springs ans they greatly improve the steering response and flatter ride, the springs installed later just made it much better.

the sways (350EVO) made a great improvement at the track... much flatter through turns and the front tires are now putting more tread on the pavement instead of rolling onto the outer 1/3 of the tread.

At the track, I run them full stiff front and rear, on the street I run them full soft.

great improvement over OEM...

<<<<<<My Cusco's greatly reduced what little roll the Z has. Much better at the track. They also reduce the understeer greatly. Just don't expect any improvement to the pourposing.

Sooooooooo, go ahead and buy some bars.

Oh, I leave the front full soft.

Thanks for the replies. Will probably get the NIsmo sways for now and then upgrade the shocks later with koni or with the s-tune suspension

I just put on some Nismo sways, and the car feels much better. I highly recommend them.

I have the Tein Flex and the Nismo S-Tune sway bars and it is a much tighter ride, feel the response most when doing a sharp zig-zag on a straight road without over and understeer, and it makes a hell of a difference taking corners with down shifting alone, not using brakes; and hardly any body roll.

It really moves with tight precision, as I had the unnerving experience of someone coming at me broad side through a stop sign; the car moved around and snap back onto the right lane, closely missing on coming traffic.

Happy New Year
