Did you clear coat over the paint.... That could be why your paint looks crappy

Ok guys, I get it I guess even no brand name covers are bad...

I did clear coat it. It looks good but only asks good as those puny calipers can look. I was simply trying find a better look since I blew my savings on the car itself lol.

I'm not a 13 year old troll, I am actually 18 and i know you guys hate teens with Z's but I am not a spoiled brat with a dad who bought me the car, I worked to pay for it.

Anyways, the general opinion seems that it would seem like rice...

 

No 'seem' about it.. The OVERWHELMING opinion is that it would BE rice.

Dont know if you can even see the calipers, it came out as a bit of a darker red.

 

There is no reason to mod for the sake of modding. You should leave the brakes alone or save for Brembos.

Both the fake BBK and painting your stock calipers is totally rice and you will see that is the general opinion on any car forum

 

You saved for the car at 18. Good way to start adulthood (learning how to save). I would suggest that just as you had patience to save for the Z and not stop half way and use the money on some junk civic, save up again for a BBK

I'm thinking about putting some red caliper covers on the brakes of my Z (http://www.carid.com/2006-nissan-350...mgp-91166.html)...here are the pics of my car and the rust on the rotors. What do you guys think I can do to cover up that rust on the rotors?
