Default Megan Racing rear lower tie brace REVIEW

So I decided to just cheap out and buy the Megan Racing rear lower tie brace rather than the GTSpec one...bad idea! Upon receiving it, it was well packed and fast on shipping, but fitment was well over 1/2" off. It's too long. Even if I had drilled out the holes for the mounting points, it still wouldn;t work due to the bolts being too big. I paid $53.00 shipped for it....spend the other $50.00 you saved to get this one and buy a GTSpec brace that fits instead...Lesson learned I guess! Iphone pic with one bolt hole as close to the center on the other side as you can get...you can see how far off it is!

Looks like it needs to be ground out a bit to work with toe bolts. Would work perfect for me since i run lockouts. Also it is pointless to have, there is little to no flex in that area. You are just adding weight.

I'm not worried about an extra 1/2 pound of weight, just for looks. I have a single with a bumper tuck and figured might as well. Even if I ground it down, I wouldn't get the bolts on due to the flare on the bolts themselves.

Umm I think you may have bought the wrong part...Last I checked on the Megan site, all their tie bars are all Red, not blue...

The only ones that are blue are on Ebay, and may be fakes...

IDK just an idea..

sorry to sound Cuban, but can you drill out a bit of both holes so it fits?
