Rear suspention squealing!
Hello every one, I have an '06 with 28,000 miles on it, I'm the original owner. About 5 years ago I've lowered the car and changed the rear links plus installed the bolt to facilitate the alignment. This past week my entire rear makes a lot of noise when I accelerate or hit a small bump specially the driver side rear. If I push down on the rear fenders by hand the squealing noise is there and kind of loud too...Can some one give me some insight on what could it be? Today I raised the car and sprayed heavy duty silicone on all the joints to no avail. Thank you in advance for your help.

If the rear links are fitted with polyurethane bushings, then the squeaking is most likely coming from them. You would need to lube them again with polyurethane lube. That sticky thick stuff, not the silicone spray. It could also be your springs, they have settled completely and you may need new coil protectors. They look like this:

The ends of springs is where a wrap like that would prevent noise, not in the middle. Look deeper into the spring seats to see their location.
Interesting idea for a replacement. Cheap product in an area that is easily accessible. Win-win scenario, if you like having something to tear apart on a regular basis.
