Default Apexi N1 EXV coilovers question

Hey I am thinking of getting these coil overs but I keep reading that they are the same as either Megans or BC and then I keep reading that they are now. Now clearly it cannot be both answer so I am wondering if someone knows for sure with fact evidence and not just speculation that they coil overs are the same minus colors. Some have said that just the exterior looks the same but they are completely different internals and that the Apexi are deff better then the megans/BC. Please any have any idea because I don't want to buy something that I could get for less.

Same coilover for all 3. Take a look at the specs on their websites, they are identical; with the exception that BC offers optional 12 kg/mm/10kg/mm springs.

Ok understood, but having the same specs does not make the same thing. Makes for similar items. I guess I just want some actual facts showing that they are the same. Maybe i am looking for something that isn't there.

What these guys are saying is there is one parent manufacturer that makes this set then other companies e.g. apexi, bc, megan can order and customize a set for their individual sell. I used to go to a tuner shop that was asked if they wanted a version of this setup for them in there colors and stickers.

you need to speak to someone who has taken all 3 apart, and at this price point, those people simply don't exist

Sounds like everyone says the same thing which is that they are manufactured at the same location. Now if they are, which sounds legit, that would mean that Apexi, a known JDM brand, felt it was a good enough product that they would stand behind it. Just wish someone would have a good factual answer. Either way if they are the same as BC's then I might as well buy the set up which includes coils, eibach rear camber and extenders for 1110 shipped.

or it means they want sales and the cheap coilover market represents an easy entry point since there is zero R&D involved - which is why so many people are in that business now.

Z1 I am not even sure if i got anything sent from you but if I didn't what would you suggest for me to go with. You seem like a very un-bias person/company.

Just read your moment, i can understand that view point. Would you then suggest getting the used set of HKS hipermax 3's for about the same price point?
