Default KW v2 Shock Adjustment Concern

I purchased a new set of KW v2 coilovers and unboxed them last night. I wanted to check to make sure everything was included. I was interested in seeing how to adjust the rebound on the shocks. I used the provided allen key and 3 out of the 4 shocks adjusted as I expected. Little force required to adjust and I could easily feel it "click" into each position.

However, one of the shocks was difficult to adjust. It required more force and I could not feel it "click" into each position when adjusting it. I talked to KW tech support and tired to describe the problem. They just said to ship it back and they can check it out.

I didn't know if anyone else has run into this sort of problem or if I am just over concerned. This is the first set of coilovers I have owned so pardon my ignorance.

Thanks.

Hopefully KW can fix it asap for you - let us know how it turns out.

I have the KW V2 and none of mine are hard to adjust. They turn real easily without any resistance and there are "notches" you can feel at each 1/6 turn.

Definitely sounds like something is up with the adjuster on that 4th damper. I'm sure KW will take care of you.

@3hree5ive0ero Thanks for the insight.

I ended up getting an RMA number and will be shipping the shock back to KW today. I'll post an update when I get the shock back.

Sometimes the nicer a damper in constructed on the inside, does mean they have more sensitive and delicate adjustment mechanisms. Small price we pay for better stuff. Never use a heavy hand. And if something doesn't feel right, go with your senses and have the manufactuer look at them or one of their authorized agents.
