Top Speed Pro-1 Coilovers Review
Update on my review....My front are just stupid noisy....Thought it was maybe my lug nuts were loose or something with the suspension....So i went back in and tightened everything down but its still there....The poping and `loose metal` sound....IDK what it is but I`m starting to worry

check from under hood if you didnt remove already, you will see a larger gap inbetween
funny I tought it was part of assembly..

This may sound dumb but I actually left the front damper nuts (3 on top) on and installed, then realized and noticed that the struts came with nuts..

BTW, clunking sounds are usually the upper strut mounts.

I did removed those nuts btw...
is the noise the shock piston hitting the hood
i had that problem with my DA integra, it was slammed, and back in the mid 90's, things weren't as available as they are today, so i made it the best i could. turned out the koni piston was bangin on the underside of the hood because i had it lowered so far and couldn't adjust the preload or dampening.
ALSO:
Has anyone set their car up with the "True" coilover setup for the rear? I just did mine today, and it seems cheesy. I don't think it's correct but i put the coil spring on the actual shock body without any extra perch. If i used the perch, the bolts for the top shock mount would have hit it and not allowed the spring to sit level. So, i just used the spring and the spanner nuts (all three). The third spanner nut was used to keep the threaded body of the shock tight with the mounting point of the knuckle.
it's a lil scary thinking that the way i set them up is the way they are "Supposed" to be set up.
hope this helps
