another MDU install (eBay Purchase)
Here is my car with MDU from eBay, rears are set OEM WITH OUT locking collars, and fronts are set 2 inches shorter than Hotckis spings, fronts are still adjustable I need to lower 1/2 maybe 1 full inch more.. Rears are maxed out unless I go true coilover set up then I bet I can go lower.. I'm also hoping the springs settle a bit more
SPECS: Vars tone +12 all around, 9.5/ 10.5
235/30/19 used tires
and
245/30/19 New *Full Runs $120 each
rear fenders are slightly rolled, Rubber mallet and heat gun do damage... need more rolling and mad spacers
from eBay "racingfirst" $520 shipped, they were listed as $300, 220 shipping
18 way adjustable
Shipping ETA- 9 days
If you search Google and other forums you'll see these are a "pirate" coil over, so apparently there not suppose to sell em' anymore, which is why the colors change to appear different.. idk something like that, "racingfirst" sent me an email stating they were fresh out of yellow, so red's are what he could ship, and that's what I wanted I somewhat took the risk knowing it would happen, also in shipment package was attached a shipment receipt "Sample Shock $80.00" go figure!
Review: I expected a stiffer ride from the setup, but its my daily driver to and from work, 36+ miles a day, occasional driving, and this setup beats my blown OEM set up.. I am extremely happy i got these, I do squeeze my steering wheel while going over speed bumps and dips, and I did it for the "aggressive wheels and stretched tires" thread
Install was straight forward, I had to drill out excess paint build up in rear damper to get bolts to slide in with ease, and had to buy NUTs from AutoZone bc stock dampers are welded on and MDU did not come with hardware

Just two nuts for lower part of rear damper, idk the size..
Cost was $5 for two,no more..
You can take the bolt up there and ask for correct fitting, I think it was a 17hex nut and threads are .25
