Default Seems a bit low for OEM? Or is this normal

Looking into getting some Tein Basics soon, and I never really thought about it till now....Does this seem like a pretty minimal wheel gap for being OEM suspension? From the looks of this it looks like even a .5 drop would be more than sufficient from the way it's sitting now.

Basically, i'm too lazy to just get a tape measure and measure it, but I've been looking at it lately and it just looks lower than normal. As far as i know, the springs are OEM, i never really inspected them. Been wondering if previous owner modified something.

I have 20MM spacers all around

-_- do you understand how hard it is to look at the gap between tire and fender when:

the car it black.
the tires are black.
the wheel gap in question(which is small already) is in the shadow of the car, making that black.
and the picture is from far away and at eye level...

but to try to answer your question with out the aid of photo editing tools. that looks about stock...if your tires are in spec that is

It is always soo difficult to see the wheel gap on black cars, especially in shadows.

My bad, I'll snap another after work. I was in a rush, took a quick pic and went in.

Spacers pushes the wheels out beyond the stock so the gap may be different. Also suspension parts may be worn and sag. My left rear is about .25" lower than my right rear. I have 115k on the oem springs.

That looks lower than stock.

My 07 with just Tein S-Tech + stock wheels looked taller than that in the rear.

^This...pushing the wheels out will make it look like there is less wheel gap.

Best to measure..always..from gound to center of wheel is best, but manual shows ground to fender lip. Anyway...it *looks* about 1/4" lower than stock.

Def stock.

FYI Tein doesn't offer the "Basics" anymore. They have the Street Basis now, which is essentially an improved design over the Basics. If you need help getting your hands on a set, please let me know.
