thanks for all the help guys. will post some pics when everything is on. probably be a little while though.

You and that friend will need a press or something equivalent. Gotta get the old bushings out and press the new ones in. It's a really simple job if you have a press. Otherwise, I dunno.

would you happen to know the difficulty of installing the bushings myself? i looked at a diy and it looked as if you needed a special tool to get them in right. not sure though.. i bet a shop wouldnt charge much to install..
I bet a shop would charge an arm and a leg to install. You hear of shops charging $300 plus to install springs. Think about how much they'll charge if they have to use a press to change bushings. This is after disassembling more suspension components to remove the arms. Then there's reassembly.

I may have assumed too much and if you're going to remove them all yourself and carry them into the shop you'll save a ton there.

DIY man.
If you're some what mechanically inclined. U can do it. It's not worth paying a shop. It's simple. Like said. A press would be a breeze. I didn't even attempt without. Those suckers are in there. Most shops round my area couldn't do it anyways. I fig they could just knock I out fast for me but didn't wana help. If u want something done and right---best do it yourself most of the time.

+1, the cheapest press from harbor freight is probably cheaper than a shop will charge.

I've done bushings many ways, handed a mechanic $20 under the table at Pep Boys for his 10 minutes of press work, paid $50 at a machine shop for 10 minutes of press work and of course done it myself. The biggest labor cost for bushings is the removal of the arms.

Hey guys, im starting to wonder if the SPC toe/bolt kit is really necessary. They will work with my kinetix arms right? on CZP it says, "will allow most mildly lowered cars to be adjusted to specs when used in conjunction with our rear camber arms."

probably just trying to sell their products.

also says
"Not recommended for high performance use because eccentric bolts are prone to slipping."

what are you guy's thoughts on that?
