Anyone have experience with AST?
Searched but no real info came up, anyone running one of the AST set ups for our car? They seem to have good reviews and are generally well regarded. I believe they also have a US service center.
FYI I emailed AST, they are able to make the 4100 series for $2200 retail (w/o springs and spherical top mounts). The 4100 series is a monotube shock with single (rebound) adjustability. I'm not sure what actual out the door price is since it seems like they make it to order, so $2200 might be it.
Good to know. Assuming $2200 is what the price is for the consumer, this doesn't seem like as a good deal in comparison to, say, KW clubsports (separate compression and rebound adjustable), which can be had for $2500 (with springs and top mounts included in the price) if you shop around from the forum's vendors.

The price went up about 6 months ago on KW, but you may be able to get a smoking deal from someone. I don't think the AST coilovers will one with springs either, that's another $300 , what one is actually better KW vs AST is a toss up
This is in one of the track threads,

There's also a guy in Texas that puts them on everything his shop builds, LS1 BMWs etc.
They bought Moton too, I don't think the tech has hit the AST side yet though.
