Default Alignment Question

I noticed that there are lockout washers out there for the Z. I was wondering if it's something I should buy for the camber arm bolts or if the eccentric washers are necessary? Cause the way I understand it, the camber arm is to adjust camber and the toe bolt at the spring bucket is to adjust toe, however you can adjust toe at the camber arm and camber at the toe bolt. What is the proper procedure to align the car so I can tell the tech, and should I buy the lockout washers for the camber arm?

Get lockout washers for the arms, since youll be adjusting camber on the arm from now on. If you ever have a need for a toe arm in the future youll want a lockout for those too.

Just let the tech know what you have installed and theyll figure out the rest.

You don't actually adjust from the other position, but camber changes with toe, toe changes with camber

The way he worded it made it sound as if he was dialing in camber setting through the toe bolt and vice versa, hence the call-out. The way you worded it is clear.

Are they necessary even if I'm not tracking the car? Are the washers notorious for slipping or should I be ok without the lockout washers?

Its cheap and easy so you might as well just do it. Refer to Jasons post above for more detailed info.
