Default OEM suspension question

2005 Tour Package - standard suspension

I plan to get wider wheels - and will most likely have my fenders rolled (if I can find someone in the Birmangham AL area to do it), but I can't find anywhere that shows/identifies the "at fender" suspension travel for stock suspension.

I do not plan to change my suspension from stock.

Thanks..

How wide will those wheels be?
Sounds like over 10.5-11.5" & ??offset to have e'm
hitting the wheel wells,need rolling.
I'd call Z1 Motorsports in Carollton,GA...east on I-20 from you.
They can help you out.Ask for Jon or Chad.

I really don't know yet. I'm scanning the various threads. Most of the talk centers on tucking the wheels inside the fenders for lowering. I don't want to lower the car, just widen the wheels. I want to make sure if I bring the wheels out to the fender edge that I don't damage the fender (it looks like I have 1"+ clearance between top of tire and bottom of fender). Jon at Z1 seems to think that if i maintain the current wheel circumference that I will bottom out the suspension before the tire would hit the fender.

I don't see any post the confirm or deny this assumption.

Thanks

275/40/17 (a .6" reduction in O.D.) fit the fronts on a S-tune (almost nothing) drop. Enkeis with +22 (i think) offset

I am running 18x9.5 wheels front and rear without lowering at this point. Also running with 255/40/18 tires on the front and 275/40/18 on the rear I have no fending rubbing issues. I plan to lower the car by 5/8 icnhes, by which I should also have no rubbing issues.
