Question Braided Brake line won't seal to hard line

Has anyone experienced this? I replaced lines, rotors, pads and fluid this weekend. I could not for the life of me get my left front SS Braided line to make a proper seal on the hard line. I ended up giving up and putting the stock line back in place for that corner. I had zero issues with any of the other lines.

Please let me know if anyone has tips or suggestions before I call up and ask for a replacement line. I don't want to point fingers at anyone but myself yet.

If you over tighten them, it will deform the seats and they will never seal.

Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and have no nicks, scratches or other deformaties.

Maybe you just got a dud on that one

Thanks davesz, wouldnt that deformation happen to the the flare on the hard line? It still seals perfectly fine on my stock rubber line. I guess i could swap the braided lines on the fronts and see if it leaks on the other side...but thats a lot of work. Doh!
