Front Spring Seat - Common Problem?
I lowered my Z recently, and a good squeak coming from front driver side.
While getting aligned, the fellas checked it out and told me I'm supposedly missing a rubber piece above the spring.
Now, I'm thinking ..no way. My buddy and I lowered it, I didn't watch him do that side, but he's done a handful of z33 before and so I know he wouldn't have dropped it and not noticed or something.
I recently heard that those things can get pinched up in there wrong.
Its 15 bucks for a new one.... but I actually will look at it myself to see if thats what it was.
Its the Front Spring Seat for those wondering.
Just wondering if its known to have to change those or something when you lower a Z. Doesn't sound right, kinda wanted different opinions.
Flame away

Those are known to get "out of alignment" when you put different springs in. Basically there is a groove worn into them from the previous spring. Just gotta line up the spring with that groove as you put them together.
