Thumbs up Tanabe Springs Thoughts

I have to say, i was alittle skepticle about installing these, because they werent popular on the board, but i have heard nothing but good things about their products, and when my gf got me them for xmas, i couldnt wait. Immedietly after the install, which went well the drop was noticable, and i liked it. We pulled the jack out(barely) and moved on to the nismo exhaust. When i went to put the jack back under the car, it was already settling in, and the drop was even better. It looks perfect, and i highly recommend these as an alternative to the eibachs. There is alittle negative camber, but when i get my alignment next week(the car needs to sit and adjust to the weight of the car) it should be pretty close to within spec, if not within spec. Even on the drive home, i noticed less body roll, and no bounce, that i experienced almost everytime i drive in my neighborhood for some reason. Alittle off topic, but today i got to install my nismo exhaust, tanabe springs, clear corners, and Injen Intake, and all i have to say is wow. The car screams, and starting it up is like music to my ears. The clear corners were a pain in the @$$ to install with the washerfluid tank in the way, but it got done. After i give her a couple coats of Z5 next weekend, i will post pics of before and after the drop. A great Day for the Fairlady!

How would Tanabe springs yield less body roll? They are softer than stock. Stock springs are 345# front and 417# rear. Tanabe GF's are 335F/374R and Tanabe NF's are 313F/352R. If anything, bodyroll would increase with these springs. They also lower the rear spring rate more than the front which increases understeer.

the NF are the ones i have, and their numbers are very close to stock, with the front about 10lbs lower and the rears about 15lbs heavier. just the drop made them perfect, but the ride seems a bit stiffer, not much but a bit. It says they only raise the spring rate 10%
