sway bar smashing oil pan issue..advice please
#23
Hmm weird. I don't think it should make a problem installing them either way. Looks like his big oil pan in right against the sway bar as well. Hope he doesn't run into the same problem. My oil pan was ****ed and my sway bar endlinks bent in half and my sway bar bent a little where the colar of the sway bar mounts to the frame.

like it was said before. That mounting point is too high. Looks like the PBM control arms are not meant to be used on a slammed car. How are you going to use the extra steering angle while slammed anyway?
You are at the extent of the geometry. The only fix is to either cut/weld or to raise the car up considerably.
I still do not like the angle of your end links. Royal-t's look much better.

I can achieve full lock with no rubbing issues at my current ride height. I'm def not going to be cutting and welding my Pbm kit or cabbing my sway bar. Looks like I will be raising the car like a lifted Chevy today hahah. I'd rather have function over looks. Also according to Pbm install pics royal t installed his endlinks wrong.

[QUOTE=terrasmak;10014785]You need to start with setting the shock length, make sure it hits the bump stops before your sway hits the pan.
I took off the control arm. Then I spun down the Coilover mounting deal .25". Spun down the lock ring. Is that what ur talking about for shock length?
