sway bar smashing oil pan issue..advice please
My car is not slammed on its nutts but it is pretty low. I tracked out the track width about 25mm -5 degrees of camber, caster is around 10 degrees. I have hotchkis sway bars (4 hole adjustment) and circuit sport adjustable endlinks and a powered by max sak. After installing all of this my sway bar rest against the oil pan. Part of this is because i have an oil pan spacer that has my turbo oil feed on it so im not trying to get rid of that for clearance. I have the endlinks and short as possible and the sway bar is on the last adjsutment hole towards the aft of the car. My question is how can i fix this issue? Is there a better sway bar i can get with more clearance? Shorter endlinks than what i have? I really like my drop and settings and if at all possible would like to keep them. Thanks

Looks like it is cause the damn endlink is mounted wrong, way to high.
on the oem lower control arm the endlink mounting point and the strut fork point are nearly level with each other. Then you put the endlink on. On yours, the mounting point is much higher.
As you raise the sway bar end,it rotates in the D brackets and that then makes the lower portion of the sway bar rotate towards the oil pan.
Wrong hardware here, simple as that. Contact whoever makes that LCA and ask them what endlink you should use.

yeah end link is to high, I wouls weld another tab on the a-arm. Where the sway bar bends and goes back to the end link should be parallel to the ground at ride height.
It also looks like the mount on the arm is to far back. The end link should be perpendicular to the ground at ride height.

Just remove the sway bar, probably not even needed for drifting.

Lol I tried that and hated it. The front end was so sloppy! It was an odd feeling. I guess I will just have to raise the car a little bit in the front and modify some super short end links . I was hoping I installed something wrong because I'm the only person having this problem.

I would probably do some cutting and welding on the PBM arms. Some simple changes could be made to improve the sway bar mounting point.

Raise the car a little, reset shock length so the bump stop engage before the sway bar hits the pan. I would also change the sway bar setting a bit softer, stiffer the bar, the less traction you have.

according to this you have it right. But look at how the stock sway bar angles up (bent up). That angle prevents some of the rotation that you are possibly seeing with the hotchkis.

I would start cutting, looks like a simple fix. Just need to do some welding. That is what I would do if i wanted to keep it an the current ride height. Just cut off the old sway bar bracket , fab a new one, weld it on.
I know PBM is a semi respectable company that makes quality/fuctional products. I did mention functional, they know that a proper drift car will have proper suspension and not dumped to the ground. My bets your actually way to low.
