Default Emergency brake shoe issue

Ok long story short i took my rotors off and when i tried to put it back on it wouldnt fit because the brake shoe was expanded i guees. I needed to go so i just took the whole shoe off. Does anyone have a diy on how to put it on? Is there a infiniti guide? Please help thank you.

I would be super careful, drum brakes are more difficult than disc. Springs can fly off and poke your eye out. You'll prob need to compress the wheel cylinder with a clamp, and shorten the tensioner stud for e brake. YouTube search 'drum brake pads.' Good luck.

I know little about drum brakes, but I do know the little cylinder at the top of the picture with the teeth can be turned to loosen or tighten the brake.

Chinese repair Manuel , take the other rotor off and look. That's what I did the first time when I struggled

lol what they said put them back and spin the cylinder to make the shoes move in closer to each other. once you do that there should be a plug on the back of the dust shield that you can stick a screw driver in to adjust it back out until there is just a little bit of drag from the shoes.

Drums are easy. Install the drum over the shoes with the adjusting washer all the way in. I usually leave it a half a thread out, because it's easier to turn if it's not tight. Pop the rubber plug off the drum and rotate the axle until you can see the adjuster. Turn it with a screwdriver until it tightens all the way. Then, back it off one tooth.
