Question for you guys. (I have the Brembo GT BBK)

You know that feeling when you've just washed your car and the initial bite of the brakes isn't there so you have to apply more pressure for them to grab? Well what does it mean when you brakes are doing that without water on them even after driving around for a while?

I'm thinking I might need to flush the brake fluid but hopefully not replace the pads yet.

I was wondering if any of you had run into this issue with any Brembos (BBK or not) and what the fix was.

Air in your lines, old fluid, damage to pads and/or rotors..

Probably just needs a bleed.

 

Did you bench bleed the master? That can cause less bite at the top of your brake pedal. Bench bleed the master and then bleed the lines. This would be a great time to change the fluid in the whole system. Go with something like ATE super blue or Motul, those are the best.

 

I wonder how much you spent to re-paint your Brembo? I spent like average US$100/piece total around US$500 to re-paint my four Brembo Calipers!!! And yes wondering if this calipers fit in an 18" rims?

 

OP you'll probably have to flush your brakes with unicorn tears to get it to work properly. Also, don't forget to sacrifice a small animal and fast for at least 24 hours.
