I have a 2003 350z and my rotors are warped and I am planning on replacing them. I figured that when I do I was gonna upgrade some things. I had heard that in 2006 the brakes were improved, and if this is true I was gonna try to find a used brake set from a 2006 or newer Z. Is it worth upgrading to the newer stuff or should I just find a nice set of pads and rotors? Not looking to spend a lot of money, just want to have some improve the braking of my Z a bit.

 

I'll have a complete brake setup from my '08 available in the next month, or so. Just need to get off my *** and install the Brembo's I bought this Summer. Keep an eye out for a post in the classifieds, but you may also find other sets for sale sooner. With good pads and rotors you can get a nice improvement with either the early or late Z brake setup, but the larger setup on the newer cars is a better overall system.
