spent some time looking at the vendor / private FS threads, the coil reviews pinned above, prices on Ebay , some manufacturer websites , threads in brake & suspensions sections

ready to pull the trigger on a new set , the megans I have now are all leaking , about 35K miles on them

i only daily drive the car , want to be able to go 1.5" at least F & R , probably not more than 2" F & R , car does have 19"/9.5" F & 11" R wheels , 225/35 F & 245/35 R tires, hotchkis sway bars

ideal for me would be $1000 or less , could go a little more but would rather not

will lower it when i install them and will more than likely not mess with the height adjustment after the install

would like something that is at least as comfortable or more comfortable than the megans that are in there , but not worse

and i would like something that handles as good what is in there but not worse

any thoughts would be considered for sure

Stance Super Sport+ coilovers would work well for your needs. Same "quality" as Megan (for a non-tracked Z), alot of height adjustability, and the valving isn't crazy stiff like PBM's.
