Default KW V2 alignment question

Hey! So my 2007z Touring Coupe (41K) needs new winter tires and with it a new wheel alignment. I've never had one before and I have aftermarket KW V2s coils/struts on all 4 corners. Because of this, the mechanic told me that an alignment based on stock specs wouldn't do much. He advised me to look up on the internet (since calling the manufacturer is worthless) to look up the optimal specs for these new shocks.

I found a thread made a few weeks ago by Doggman9 about his VW K1s. Even though his tire sizes are different then mine, would these specs still be fine for my car? I drive aggressive on street, but little autox or track.

-2007z Touring (41K mil)
-KW V2s, Hotchki Swaybars
-Current bald tires are stock size 225/245/45
-New winter tires may be a square setup of 235.

Thanks so much!

Actually stock specs are good with the exception of front camber. Front is not adjustable, and you will have more than stock and that is a good thing.

sweet man, I'll let the mechanic know. While I have you here, he also said that for winter tires, the softer the tire the better. He recommended Yokos for winter, which I see for my 18" only come in 235s. Anything wrong with this tire or having a square setup for winters? I live in VA so winters can be bad or mild

235/45-18 square should work fine for the winter. As far as what tire is better for winter driving, I have never owned snow tires and hope I never need them .

Yeah, the stock alignment settings should be fine. As for snow tires, I loved my Blizzaks, which are consistently rated to be one of the best, and also the Nokians that I tried. I highly recommend the former, if you need a snow set.

I ended up getting some Michelin Xice 3. We shall see how they handle when the snow/ice come
