Default Ebc pads & rotors

Sorry don't have any pics of these on my work computer but I love this set up, went with EBC yellows and EBC USR (ultimax) rotors and they feel really good a good upgrade to the stock system, mines a base so the non brembo calipers not the cheapest set up, ($650) but im happy with what I got! now I just need some lighter wheels to have some fun with! but I like them so far!

For what its worth... my brother runs EBC Yellows on his Golf R (APR Stage I+) and really likes them. He uses them for daily + HPDE track use. He recently switched to StopTech slotted rotors (after running the stock ones for several track days) and has been dealing with some vibrations after they heat up. Seems to be related to build up of pad material as the rotors themselves do not appear to be warped.

Yeah, the Reds are what you want to use for the street. I've been using them for more than 10 years on several cars, and no issues. You never have enough heat in the brakes for Yellows on the street.

I had this set up with the Brembo's, it was ok, I didn't experience fade but I've just had the front disc's skimmed and now on DS2500 pads, feels considerably better (imho).
