Default oem nismo rear springs

Im installing my oem nismo suspension and i have a dumb question. Which way does the spring sit in the rear bucket. I currently have the bunches of coils at the top is this correct?
Just want to verify thanks

It shouldn’t make any difference if they fit either way; the softer part of the spring will compress first, regardless of it's being on the top or bottom.

I would say you should install them so that you can read the lettering on the spring.

when i did my eibach's... i did them to where i could read the logo... so that would but the tighter loops at the top (assuming nismo are the same)

I see something (labels or printing) on the springs in the pictures you posted.

You can mount the springs either way (there will be no difference in performance as long as they fit).

You'll see that one side of the spring matches the seat in the A-arm, and the spring also has to be rotated properly to fit fully down in the seat. It's been several months since I've had mine apart, so I don't remember which end is up, but it will be obvious to you when you're in there.

My nismo with the OEM stuff has the coil wrapped in rubber up top. If you care.
