Default Track suspension setups

I currently have a 03 350z and first thought slammed and stretched tires was "cool". Now having the car for a while I want to start planning on making it into a track car. I wanted to know if track guys can inform me more on suspension for track occasions and tell me a break down of parts and setups they're running. Thanks for your input!

Put your stock suspension on and hit the track, get 6 to 10 events under your belt and start thinking about the shortfalls

^^This, and keep in mind that suspension setups change with personal preferences. By starting with the OEM suspension, you'll learn more about what works and what doesn't by your own experience. You'll also be building your own frame of reference by starting this way.

Thanks everyone for their input!
I'm definitely going back to oem suspension and gain some experience.
