Default Tokico Blue Shocks + Eibach pro kit or Tein Basis?

My current setup is stock shocks and s tune springs but looking for something a little lower in the rear. Not to mention that my current shocks have 130k on them and need to be replaced.

Which setup would you guys go with? The Tokico blues + eibach pro kit or the tein basis?

They both seem to be around the same price range so was hoping a few people could chime in.

Thank you!

Just put the Eibach Pros on a few months ago. Huge improvement and lil drop. At 99k, the blues are next for me.

My own preference is shocks n' springs of proven quality. (Tokico/ProKit)

Not baggin' on Tein at all, I just don't like coilovers for a street application (other than Bilstein PSS 9/10 if full adjustability is needed.)

However, being that you say you're looking for new ride height, don't think you'll be happy with ProKit based solely on the amount of lowering (approx. 15-19mm) and you should go ahead with the Tein to achieve that through adjustable height.

Another option on static setup with Toks would be the Eibach Sportline springs. Very harsh ride comparatively; but may achieve your ride height requirements - about 30mm drop.

I was looking at a couple setups and honestly the s tunes aren't all that bad but they REALLY lack in the rear. One of my struts may be on the way out too considering my passenger rear is a bit higher than the other side.

I figure the pro kit would be the perfect height as far as daily driveability and comfort. S tune springs feel awesome but unfortunately they just aren't low enough.

OK, well, if this helps, a pic's worth a thousand words...

My '03 on ProKit/Koni Yellow.

The springs have settled after 3 years to an almost too low -19mm.

And now, with a set of Nismo size tires (18/19 setup described here: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...-find-out.html ), my exhaust scrapes on medium grade driveways and speed bumps. Feh.

Love my Tokico Blues. I matched them with Tanabe Gf210 and rear spring mount mod and car sits perfectly for me. Shocks are much better performing than my original 2004 shocks but ride is no where near harsh. Im very happy with this combo.

I was also looking at the Tein Basis, but read too many reviews of how harsh the ride was and that was not what I wanted. I found my blues and GF210 springs barely used on the for sale forum and only paid $380 combined for them.
