Default Rear diff bushing pushed through

I put the Z1 bushing in there a couple years ago and just noticed it was pushing in towards the diff. Ordered SPL solids and began taking it apart. Naturally the rear nut is stripped to all hell. After messing with it for 15 minutes, I noticed the diff was real loose. With the nut still on and fully tightened, I pushed the damn diff forward and the bushing easily came out with the diff. All in one piece. Did the bushing fail and become loose? I did notice the stud is a little loose as well. How far are the threads supposed to stick out? I also measured the subframe mount and it appears to be in spec.

No real update to provide. Tightened the stud and everything looks fine. I was thinking that MAYBE the shift kit tore up the bushing. It hits pretty hard.

The solids will be installed today and I'll add a brace and keep an eye on it.

The Z1 bushing relies on compession when you install and tighten the nut iirc, so you may just not have had preload on it at all causing it to shift. Good move on the solids.

Yeah I cannot remember how I installed it. Very possible user error. The solid one was super tight going in. So at least I don't have to worry about the bushing race being out of spec.
