Default I think I might have updated suspension on my 04' Roadster

I am not sure but I think I might have the updated suspension system on my 04' Roadster.

I have all the updates of an 04' that one of the car magazine mentioned including the knee pad.
(I think it was Motortrend, Car & Drive or Automobil, but I am not sure)

I don't know this for a fact but when I went for a drive on my both 350Z just right now, I noticed that the Coupe was lot more bouncer than the Roadster

It was as if Coupe was lowered even though its not

I don't know if its because Roadster is heavier than coupe but the ride is DAY & NIGHT.

The Roadster rides much better and was definitely smoother.

I really did not notice this until today when I went for a drive on both my cars back to back.

It kinda nice to have both Coupe & Roadster even though it will only be for short time.

I just thought I'll share this.

Does anyone know?

Coupe was built on 04/03 and Roadster was built on 01/04.

I think you do have the running change for the 04s. Cars built after November 30/03 seem to have the Euro suspension. Lucky you.

You are right. Few people have confirmed that Z's built in late 2003 have new Euro suspension.

Also, Amycroft drove my car yesterday and he did notice that the ride was lot smoother and there was no bounce.

well mine was built in 12/03 and the ride is noticably smoother and i do have the euro suspension but with 4600 miles i got feathering issues just like the 03....so i guess the new suspension isnt a fix for the tire feathering

Lose the OE tires or inform Nissan. Not a very palatable choice, but the only two I can suggest.

I got my roadster in Oct. of '03. Will I have the updated suspension?

It rides totally differently than my friend's '03 coupe.

No Bounce? The roadsters may have received the updated suspension in some cases as early as October or before, hard to say.

Nope. Feels smooth to me. Nothing like the '03 coupe ride. Is there some way to tell for sure?

I think all the Roadsters have updated suspension. I have a friend who has a Roadster which was built on 9/03 and he has no bounce also.

Would be interesting to have you find out the part numbers stamped on the front and rear shocks. I have the 03 350Z suspension on my sedan, I can get the numbers off mine to compair. (yes I have the bounce )
