Default Wilwood 6 piston "Pics"

Here are a few pics of the Wilwood 6 piston front brake kit for our carz. Its a 14" 2 piece rotor. I replaced the stock Brembo's with these "still waiting on the rear" I like them ALOT.

Looks real good. I've been out of the loop on a lot of the 350z mods for a while now, so forgive the basic questions. Anyone done any tests comparing these to Stoptech. How is the price compared to the Stoptech kits?

The stock Brembos were nice but these do have a stiffer feel to them. I also like the fact that they are quiet. Like most of us that have owned them know the stock Brembo's can squeel a bit. And I think they are better looking then the gold on my car IMO.

As far as price the front kit sells for around $1,850. The rear will most likely be around there. I paid less but got in on the original pre-order that Jeff at evolution did. Jeff was great by the way and was great with returning calls and keeping me updated.

I like to try out new stuff and really took a chance on these because it is a new kit and not many people had it. I am very surprised with how much I like them, Cant wait for the rears.

Thanks for posting the pics and your initial impressions. Your car looks incredible. I luv those wheels. Have the same ones on our sc430

More than anything we are glad you are pleased. We took a lot of time developing this kit making sure that everything was taken into consideration before we released it. The rotors and calipers in this kit are the newest releases from Wilwood incorporating the most advanced technology to date.

The rear set up will utilize the same components. The caliper looks exactly the same externally and the rotor is also a 14" (4 piston in the rear though and 1.1" thick rotor as oppossed to 1.25") but will retain the OEM pedal height with increased pedal feel and better modulation. I ll have pics of it very very soon. The rear IS finished. Once I get the prototypes back and everything checks out "ok" we will release it. Expect first shipment in about 2-3 weeks.

Those Wils look sharp! I'll be getting them soon myself.

Thanks,

Clint

Come on. 6 pistons Caliper behind those mean 19" TE37 Concave spokes. With 14" rotors
