ap is very good, great customer service and they look good. I have the 13.2" front and rears. I almost went flying out the window when I first got them not knowing how much stronger they are. They also have 14" 6 piston fronts but the braking from 0-60 is very close. Think this way, 6 small pistons or 4 big pistons, do the math. Same with stoptech with 4-6 pistons, not much differences in braking power. Stoptech and ap racing are good , I know more people have stoptechs but I can never say anything bad about ap racing from my side.

It is very competitive market, all the kits are credible. And they are expensive so you MUST do reading and research on them and not rely just on our views.

I picked StopTech. I have tracked them. I like them a lot. If you are not going to track it....and you want to go to a big brake kit, stick with the front wheel kit only. The additional cost for doing the rear wheels will not be worth it for a street car. Visit the archives of article on the stoptech site to read up on this point, as they themselves take that position. (www.stoptech.com)

I note that you are using 20" wheels. My view is that while those wheels are smokin' when it comes to looks, they are not a serious performance choice. The sidewall is just too short and stiff. Nobody is going to slap "twenties" on the car and take it to the track. And the big brake kits are hard to justify for the car except for performance braking. (unless the looks are just too much to resist, and that is legit!) The Brembos are great. You could go to perhaps some different pads and stainless lines with upgraded fluid like Motul 600RBF, and that will step up your braking performance economically.

HOWEVER, if you want that big rotor and custom painted calipers for the stunning looks, and the performance upgrade was a benefit to that, that is cool. Grab the four wheel kit and understand, that the actual braking performance for the occasional panic stop will not be that materially better than your Brembos. The performance enhancement is for the repeated heavy demands of a a track, where the larger rotor absorbs the heat and thus resists fade better, and the fluid operates at higher temps without boiling, and the pads do not wear down to the metal during the day of hard running. They may stop you a little bit faster at the beginning....but at the end the stock brakes will not be there to stop you quickly, if at all, while the big kit will still be doing what it did 20 laps before.

have a blast, and post pics of your set up when you get it on!!

So good to see some REAL info on a site for a change! Kudos on that post

They are frankly all terrific kits, and I doubt highly you would find anyone dissatisfield with the big boy kits

I went AP on mine..I also considered and still eventually may go to Endless for aesthetic reasons only. I personally did not consider the Stoptech for the simple reason that as a brand name, it did not fit in with the overall look/feel of my car IMHO, though having sold, raced on and used them before, they make a terrific product as well!

If money wasn't an issue for me, I'd go with endless or project mu. But since it is, I'd go with Rotora. I try to stick to jdm as much as possible. But all those brakes mentioned on this thread are top knotch!

I also vote Endless.

IMO (don't flame me) these are how I would pick kits. From best to last pick.

Alcon (I wish I had money)
Endless (YEAH!)
Brembo
Project U
AP Racing
Stoptech
and then Rotora...

That's just my picks and doesn't mean that Rotora makes bad brakes. I'm just a name ***** at times too.
