I dont personally have the Nismo sways. My buddy had some installed on his project Z and they are nice. But IMO for the price of those you could get the Hotchkis TVS 1 kit which would outperform the Nismo sways only. You could also do just Hotchkis sways (numerous people hold them to be far superior than the others) and some springs or whatever. Bottom line:

Nismo= non-adjustable $450+
Hotchkis= 3 way adjustbale $225~

bump...i am also considering the evo sways, they are 3 way adjustable too and around 350 for both....the hotchkis looks like a good price if thats for both....but how about the noise???

i know evo changed out their bushing so that it would eliminate the noise factor

I'm still waiting for mine to come in but you can ask AmyCroft or joust75 as they already have them installed. As for the price yes it includes both front and rear.

My opinion: Nismo sways aren't too much heavier than stock sways and work great for the street. No squeaks or any negative issues. They just corner flat and, with the stock springs, they have very little effect on ride harshness.

For track or competition driving, many owners recommend adjustable sways so you can fine tune. They may be cheaper than the Nismo sways, as well.

the nismo's should be lighter since they are hollow....and less noisy because they use rubber bushings instead of polyurethane

i am still undecided at this point and will wait until after i have my coilovers installed before purchasing the sways...just wanted some feedback because i was considering doing it all at the same time....anyways, thanks all for your input...the board is always helpful

feel free to add your .02 if you have sways already or are wanting to purchase some it would be helpful....out

Check out the evo bars for sale by matt g. in private classifieds. I think he is letting them go for cheap.

I think for the price, you can't go wrong with the Hotchkis sways. They are hollow, adjustable, don't make a sound, and very cheap in comparison. I haven't had a problem with mine other than the endlink bolt coming loose (finally put some thread lock on it to cure it).

I have had them on for about 5 months now with no problems. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to go the sway bar route.

The Sway's Are Very Strong. And Hotchkis price point is very low.

I have mine front on middle and rears on soft.. But scince I added Koni Shocks - I can't kick out the rear end it is so nuetral / Stable

Even in the Rain.. On ramp to 210 from Beuna Vista stompt on it in the rain,,, and didn't slide. Koni's full soft.

Cheers Amy -
