NISMO (Non Brembo) Pads
Performace Nissan has yet another offer that for me is too good to pass on. I don't track my Z enough to warrant spending big bucks on a true Big Brake kit, but the package they have (linked below) looks GREAT for my purposes.
I am wondering if anyone running the NISMO pads can compare them to the Stock pads, or possibly even to the Hawks or Axxis pads a lot of you guys seem to be talking about.
With the kit below and some quality fluid (Motul 5.1 or maybe 600) do you think I'll do fine for a few track events? In addition, will I be tearing up the new Rotors with these NISMO pads if I use them for daily street usage?

I run these on my car...
I hate responding to things like this because I am also selling the product.. but heck.. I paid a little more then our special price rite now for these parts on my car and I am very happy with them... The new combonation is quieter then the stock brakes.. the stock ones squeeked some times.. these dont..
they are track worthy pads, but still very comfortable on the street... less brake dust too..
alot of people say that the NISMO Pads are the same as Hawk pads.. but.. i have never heard this from nismo / nore do I know for sure...
this kit is a large step up from the stock brake package...

jason i just ordered these pads from you this week. cant wait to try them out my question is
ive got exactly 10k miles on my Z and i track it a few times a year other than that i baby it(i guess it evens out) anyway how long do you think my rear pads will last since i only ordered the fronts
after my big track day in april at VIR my fronts are getting a little weak the brake pedal goes down further now and im getting the squeak at when i pull to stop lights plus i can tell the level of my super blue brake fluid is dropping. this is what prompted me to order the nismos

Not sure if nismo will come out with "rotors"...
My rear brakes are COMPLETELY GONE after 38000 miles... I should have changed them at 32000 when i did my front brakes...
You will be very happy with them...

i didnt figure nismo had any rotors in mind but i would be cool to have some with a etched logo like my exaust
yeah see im changing my fronts at 10k. i hope my OEM rears will last for a while at least till 20k i just wanted your opinion on how much longer they would last and how well the nismo fronts will hold up under normal street conditions with like 3 track events a year. im not planning on a brake up grade. i just hope the r tune fronts will get me by for what i want out of the car. im glad about the cut down on brake dust you are talking about with these pads
see in not trying to put too much more money in the Z.
i got a C6 on the way and a GT-R fund to build up!

its so hard to tell someone when they will need to change something... My OEM Tires were still filled with tread after 22000 miles... but i see some cars that come in with 6000 miles and no rubber left...
fed ex is taking responsibility for my claim...
