this is normal, the stock rotors are garbage. replace them with some stoptech rotors. they are also cheaper than oem

I replaced my front rotors with AP Big Brakes but my rear rotors are SHOT, this with only 15k miles!!!!

The squeak so loud right now that it is embarrasing to roll up to a stop light....It is bad when people are turning their heads and covering their ears because the noise is sooooo bad!

Brakes are garbage...I am going to have my rear brakes replaced ASAP, I will probably go with a OEM sized upgrade....

I had my front rotors and pads replaced by dealer at 12k miles under warrenty.....forgot to mention that....

I still ripped them off and put on the big brakes...makes a huge difference with the SS brake lines as well.

I agree with complaining, but they KNOW the brakes are garbage

Guys,
Wear rates on brakes vary tremendously depending on usage. The base model brakes are perfectly fine for everyday driving, and are actually much better than many other sports cars out there. They don't hold up to competition use, but they're fine for street driving.

As for squeaking noises, you need to rebed your pads and rotors. Do a search on bedding brakes and you should find some answers. Also, do a product search on www.stoptech.com for a stage I and II upgrade. We have some great packages on rotors, lines, pads, fluid, etc. You can buy these packages from any of our authorized resellers.
