Default Hawk HPS Pad install

Well, finally got the handy man in me out to do some work on the Z and decided to tackle the next hurdle of mechanical difficulty - installing new brake pads. After reading several DIY's and asking some of the local brake shop mechanics for any tips I set forth and jacked up my Z and had at it. The first wheel probably took about a half an hour to do, and the second wheel seemed to take a matter of minutes. I must say I am quite pleased with the results. Braking definitely feels less "spongy" and there is no sqeaking whatsoever. Definitly a step up in difficulty from installing a POP charger but not by much. Definitely a must do for the DIY'er. For the cost of the brake pads and misc stuff needed to change the pads, still came out WAY cheaper than even the best quote at the local brake shop.

You should see what shops quote for my wife's Mercedes... It's usully 2 to 3 times(!) more than it cost me DIY. It's really profitable to be handy.
