Default Kinetix Camber Rods

Just got a set and they look great but noticed they are straight with no curve ?? Earlier ones I saw on here and on their website show a curve in the rod simlar to stock. Did they change them ?

I'm contemplating about getting them. How are they working for you?

*Bump*

I have a question on this as well. I purchased a set of these, and they are straight as well ... does anyone know if this is a new design for the Camber Arms, or did I get sent the traction bars instead?

From what I heard they changed it to a straight design. Not sure why as it SHOULD have a curve to it. I got the SPC camber arms which I think look better then the Kinetix plus they were cheaper. The Kinetix traction arm cannot adjust the toe properly so you would need to get the SPC toe bolts so I just got the SPC arms and toe bolt package from www.iapdirect.com Total cost was $219 shipped for EVERYTHING.

I have the kinetix arms and I would NOT reccomend them. My arms were straight too and everytime I hit a speed bump, I hear a clicking noise from the rear. I think its the camber arms hitting the rear sway bar. The "U" joints on the arms were too narrow to fit over the knuckle on the rear suspension, so I had to widen them to get them to fit. When I took the car to get aligned, I learned that the "traction" arms do not adjust toe at all. They merely move the wheel foward and backwards which accomplishes nothing. The arms did not come with any instructions, which sucked. Lastly, I tired to contanct Kinetix for about 2 weeks through e-mail and phone, but they never answered nor got back to me.

So basically I spent $300+ to have my camber at -2 degrees, so that my toe wouldn't be so out of speck. I'll never buy from kinetix again.

I think I'm going to go with the new Hotchkis camber and toe arms to remedy the problem.

The Hotchkis toe arms aren't going to do anything either. The toe arm will do the same thing the Kinetix one did nothing more. The only way to get your toe in spec is to use the SPC toe bolts. See the hotchkis toe arm is just going to move the wheel like the Kinetix. The toe bolt actually adjusts the lower spring mount and in turn the toe setting perpindicular to the the direction of the wheel. (Toe). Plus the SPC toe bolts solo are only $70. Save yourself the cash and fix it for real.

i just lowered my car another 1/2" last night (which brings the total to almost 2") and my camber is at -1.4 degrees with the toe set at 0 degrees...

...thanks to the spc toe bolts that i installed.
