Default Big Brake Kits and increased unsprung weight

Does anyone have any weight specs on the stock (non-brembo) braking system vs. big brake kits. I was thinking about Stoptech 332mm kit in particular. I know the stoptech set-up will be somewhat heavier but does anyone have an idea by how much? Will the added unsprung weight adversely affect my handling compared to the lighter stock brakes?

well, unsprung weight will be multiplied by 10. so whatever weight that isnt supported by the springs will be 10 times heavier in the cabin. so if the stoptech brakes are 1 lb heavier than the stock(each), that equals to 40lbs you just added to the cabin. which means you'll technically lose torque/hp.

Well, I'll say this on my own setup - yes they weighed significantly more than my stock non track brakes (I have AP). However, the heavier steering feel was a vast improvement for me compared to stock, which I felt was overboosted. This is especially beneficial to me during high speed use.

As for the weight for weight's sake, this ain't a light car in the firstplace (Speedracer - your car is all the worse with the convertible), but the increased brake feel and consistency after repeated high speed stops, was well worth the increase in weight

I'm not so concerned with overall weight (thanks to the SC) but specifically to unsprung weight. On my previous Audi S4 I went from stock calipers and BBS wheels to Stoptechs and RS4 wheels. The added weight to each corner was about 15 lbs, and I felt it. Car felt MUCH less agile. I spent good money for my light Nismo wheels and while I fully know the benefits of these brakes on the track, I'm wondering if I will be sacrificing daily agility for the 2-3 days/year I may be tracking the car.
