Default Question on brembo pads

Hey all..quick question

I have the brembos and the pads are just begining to wear on me. im going to replace them but i was wondering if anyone would recomend using a differnt pad. this would be my first time changing them so all "stock to aftermarket" considerations apply. i dont really drive like a maniac so i dont need anything ultra high performance, but if anything grips better than the brembo at a relativly decent price, that would be key.

and how mucb of a differnce would it make if i changed the rotors to slotted or drilled or both . what company would be the way to go ?....basically, whats the best brake upgrade i can do without completely changing everything?

thanks ppl

I just had Hawk ceramic pads put on this last week (front only) and I love them. Feel a tad grabbier than stock but they give off no dust whatsoever.

Picked them up at Tire Rack for $72. Don't know how, if at all, it would work with drilled/slotted rotors but Hawk seems to be a common choice on lots of performance vehicles.

Has anyone tried those Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads that Tire Rack is selling? Price seems to good to be a decent pad?

Default Pads Recomendation

Hello

I am a very agresive driver.....

I use my car daily 2004 Le Mans Sunset Track, and ocasionally drive in autocross/tracks events on weekends.

I wore my stock pads at 11k miles, the second (also stock) at 24k miles; now I installed the Hawk HPS pads a month ago, they are great.

I used them in a autocross event two weeks ago, they performed flawwlessly, and they release less dust than normal.

I still have the stock rotors on my third set of pads. The most important upgrade on the track is the brake fluid, I switch to Motul 600.

You will not have any problems with this combination, I have a couple of friends with the same car and same set up no problems so far.
