350Z and G35 Owners: looking for that something special for your Big Brake needs?
TCE is offering a deal right now on our exclusive Wilwood 14" W6A front kit and combining it with the factory 13" rear kit. This front kit is available in limited production run about once a year when we produce brackets for it. With one order pending it was time to open it up to make room for others.
The TCE/Wilwood 14" front kit replaces the common BSL6 front caliper with the much larger and more robust W6A model found on many 14" and larger Wilwood factory kits including the Corvette and Mustang GT500! This caliper will not fit the same kit directly without our exclusive brackets however. These are made for TCE to our specs and supplied with all the 14" kits we order. You simply cannot purchase this monster kit from any other Wilwood dealer.

Right now we're offering a combo deal: a front and rear kit (14/13) in your choice of black or red powder coat finish for $3000 plus shipping. Optional drilled and slotted rotors are available for an extra $120 per axle. A non refundable $500 deposit is required with your order. A question was asked about additional clearance for the W6A. Yes there is a bit.

Did you know that the W6A caliper now can be fit with the popular mid level Polymatrix E compound pad? This pad is ideal for AX and light track use while remaining streetable enough for a daily driver. Granted it's metallic nature might be a bit draining for you classical music...!
For you track junkies the W6A is fit with your choice of Poly A, B or H compound. Moderate HPDE drivers using a performance street tire can benefit from the B compound and it's moderate torque curve; providing ample stopping power yet not of taxing the brake system making tire adhesion difficult. For the more experienced diver a move to the H compound (extremely popular with the Corvette market) will provide a good combo of brake torque and durability. Only the most aggressive of drivers should consider A compound as it remains one of the industries most high torque pads still! Use with caution...
For you track junkies the W6A is fit with your choice of Poly A, B or H compound. For those who don't know all these kits come with the relatively new Spec37 iron rotors produced by Wilwood. With military testing background these new castings offer both more durability, life and wear resistance than rotors only three years ago.
Check out this story line:
Wilwood Engineering seemingly pushes the envelope on competition braking power annually at each PRI tradeshow by rolling out proprietary new technology. This year was no different with the release of Wilwood’s new Spec 37 competition rotors.
We talked to Michael Hamrick, Account Executive at Wilwood Engineering, about the Spec 37 rotors. “Spec 37 is a proprietary iron alloy that we have developed to withstand extreme high temperatures of oval track and road course competition,” says Hamrick.
Hamrick explained that the alloy is a derivative of the technology and materials used in heavy duty military spec rotors that are manufactured by Wilwood. “Many people don’t know that we manufacture extreme duty rotors for military applications. What we have done is transfer some of that technology into some of our other products, with some tweaks, giving consumers a totally new product with cutting edge technology,” said Hamrick.
We noticed a real resistance against distortion, warping, cracking and wear with rotors made with this alloy.
The spec 37 racing formula has already established itself as a winner by proving itself on road courses and oval tracks during initial testing and in competition. “We noticed a real resistance against distortion, warping, cracking and wear with rotors made with this alloy,” said Hamrick.
Hamrick explained that the “Spec 37 alloy was currently available in the GT and HD series directional vane configurations in the most common sizes of our oval track and road course brake packages.” He went on to explain that the HD series rotors were the “most affordable opportunities for racers wanting to upgrade to the Spec 37 rotors.”
The brake engineering company from Camarillo, California continuously amazes us with their annual upgrades to an already impressive product line. We can hardly wait to see what they stop us with next year.

Keep in mind for our $3000 deal we are including not only the 13" rear kit but also the option for rear calipers in red powder coat. This alone is normally a $100 premium change for the rear kit.
Also included in all TCE kit purchases are our own stainless steel hose kits. Unlike many of the hose kits we do not use body bracket adapters and multiple hose fittings; only the correct fitting hard line end and fully jacketed braided hose for a clean and sure installation. Just one more way TCE goes beyond the factory parts with quality and attention to detail.

With only a couple weeks left on our sponsorship agreement I want to thank the lucky few who took advantage of this offer. I truly wished we could have chocked up a dozen or so sales but today $3k is still a lot of coin and I get that.
