Default What the heck!!!

I just got back from the Nissan Dealer in Bakersfield...

I test drove the 35th Z yellow...Sticker price was $38,000..And they told me that's the price I'll pay...Wow...Should I go to different dealer?? Or..Is that what's happening in CA??

If you're interested in buying a car, please never ask how much it costs. The “S” in MSRP means “suggested.” Offer the dealer $34,200. Tell us how it works out.

Did you offer $34,200 for the car? What did the seller say?

from what i've been hearing in this forum, if you're planning on purchasing a '05 350Z, you could possibly pay $500-1000 off invoice. if you're interested in purchasing an '06, consider paying $500 over invoice. this doesn't include tax and license. i also heard nissan is offering $1000 incentive, but i'm not sure if this is true.

if you hear anything about the incentives (whether its true), please let me know. thanks.

to my knowledge, $1000 incentive was valid until last month for 05 models
