Default Wait time for 06?

So anyone that's ordered an 06 Z coupe...What wait time has the dealership quoted you. Mine told me 8-10 weeks. I ordered my car today (11-7-05).

most people have waited around 90 days. Your estimate seems pretty accurate. The wait is the hardest part

Yep, the wait is killing me. I already have my Tanabe GF springs and 19" Volk LE37's. They just laugh at me every time I look at them.

For those who have ordered an 06 and received it already...did your dealer give you an E.T.A., but you got the car ahead of the expected date?

I was going to order a Redline but my dealer found one on its way, and will be here in two weeks. he called the dealer it was going to, and its not a special order. So I am hoping it works out and its mine. You never know about dealers. I will keep you informed.

I ordered mine 10/14 and I got several different delivery date quotes. The first quote was December, January, February at the latest. The second quote was end of November (from a public relations person). The last quote from the salesman was mid-December.

At least I have some time to save up more for down payment..and time to clean out the garage. But, I hate the waiting.. it's killin me.

fishanan,
We have not really sat down and discussed price yet. I am going to wait till it comes in and check it out first. He told me I have first shot at it. I will let you know

I ordered mine a day after you did, 10/15, and I got a delivery date of 1/31/06. I sure hope that's a conservative estimate and it arrives earlier.

I would hopd you get yours before the end of January, cause on Nov. 4th, I was quoted 8-10 weeks, which means Mid January at the latest.

Just make sure if you order the car. The dealer give you the production number and give a print out showing production time and ETA. Nissan Japan give the dealer production number.

I was told that my '06 was ordered in mid-Oct. The dealer said they would let me know when they have a VIN for me to shop for insurance.. When would they get the VIN? before it is put on a boat from Japan? or when it arrives in the U.S.?

I'm basically calling the dealer every 2 weeks for an update and all they can tell me is that 'it is ordered'. I want it! Now!
