Default Buying new 350z... 06 and which package?

So i'm looking into the 06 350z's and i notice there are different packages ... I am familiar with the changes in 06 but i do not understand why people rather get the enthusiast package than the basic or track model etc... are tehy all shaped the same ? and the hp the same right? i dont want navi as i'll just be getting a avic-d1

LSD, TCS, homelink mirror, aluminum pedals... the 03-05's were a better deal cause it was only a $2000 difference. the 06's are still roughly about a $2000 difference, but the dealers mark it up to about another $1000.

Go to the Nissan USA site & spend some quality time looking at the differences between models. Baisics are the same; i.e. shape, engine size, suspension, etc. essentially it is bells & whistles that seperate the models.

Best buy is the Enthusiast model.

Do you guys know if the door trim is the same between different models -- Base, Enthu, Touring? Just wondering if they change it depending on whether you get leather seats or not. Still waiting for the 06 to show up at local dealerships so I can go look in person before I order.

thanks!

I can’t tell you which model is best for you, but I can tell you the most popular models with 350Z owners.

id suggest enthusiast. in 06 its like the 05 track minus the brakes and wheels. Its best all around package for price. Track model was most attractive to me in 2005, but i couldn't afford it. Now, enthusiast is since its got the track motor.
