Default 2006 reasonable to ask for 26,500 w/o tax & lic?

Was wondering if its reasonable to ask for a 2006 Enthusiast 6spd MT for $26,500 with just side & head airbags as options.

Fair? I guess that's up to you. Realistic? I wouldn't expect sub-invoice pricing on a '06 Z. My guess is you're about $1500 low if you're looking for a '06 6-speed Enthusiast with side air bags. Maybe a left-over '05 though. I've been offered $5K off MSRP on a new, previous model year Z.

Well considering I was orginially quoted 27,500 for an 05 enthusiast with my old Z and that was with aero package, splash guards, side airbags, kick plates, cargo nets, carpets, and all that pizaaaz, I don't think 27k flat is unreasonable minus the aero package, splash guards and all other accessories.

When were you offered $27K for the '05?

I'll bet you a donut you won't pay $27000 for a '06 Enthusiast w/ side airbags anytime this January.

I assume you are asking if it is reasonable for a dealer to quote $26,500 for a new Z? Please don't concern yourself with quotes. Study the pricing, visit the dealer and make your best offer.

Bah screw it, already throwing up over the quotes I've gotten even with research. Every dealer in so cal is saying 28k or just a hair under 28k which is ridiculous. I even asked one "high profile" so. cal dealer about Nissan's 1000 rebate on 2006 models that's listed on their Internet deals listed by cars they list in inventor on their website, and they have the nerve to tell me those are misprints. I'll just wait till 2007 models are out and they're clearing out 06s. Who knows, maybe the base will get even more goodies in 2007 as well.

2006 has been facelifted, so i think 2007 will be a carryover of 06.

That'll be fine too, it'll give me enough time to save so I can do all my mods at once.
