Just wondering what others are buying the 06 Base 350z for? Im NOT looking for OTD prices. Ive got an online quote, $26,499 for a $28,545 MSRP car. Is that anywhere close to good or can i get it for much cheaper? Im thinking also about getting a quote through Costco. Anybody deal with Costco pricing and so on?

 

Vehicles are not sold over the internet. Study the prices, find the car you want, visit the dealer and make your best offer. Pretty simple.

$26,499 for a $28,545 MSRP car sounds good to me.. but they have 28,545 MSRP car?
I've never seen a base w/o any option.. personally, mine came with side airbag, floormat, splashguard, trunkmat, etc.. for 27500 otd(paid 400 over invoice)

 

Sounds about what I paid for my 05, pay attention to the OTD price though.

 

I was quoted:

2006 350Z (base) Coupe 6-speed

Pikes Peak White with carbon/charcoal interior

All standard factory equipment plus:

- Floor mats

- Trunk mat

- Splash guards

- Cargo convenience package

- Aluminum kickplates

MSRP: $28,520

Invoice: $26,641

Dealer profit: $500

Your internet price: $27,141 +ttl

A deal is not finalized until you physically go to the dealership and sign the paperwork. Therefore, the deal is not done over the internet. You can get quotes, but they are not legally binding.

 

I've had paperwork faxed/signed and given them the downpayment via credit card before even setting foot in a dealership.

I've bought 3 cars this way and and was at the dealer for about an hour before starting my long journey home (all 3 were out of state, so just taking a casual stroll to the dealer was not possible).

 

hmm, thanks for the info. I never thought of doing it that way. I might be in that situation in a few months. If none of the dealers around here can match the price of carmax, I'll be driving a few hours to Maryland to pick mine up. I'll see if I can do all of the paperwork prior to actually visiting the dealership.

so anything below that is a good deal.

I was just quoted $26,521 plus tax, tag, etc... for a new 06 Base Z. The invoice price for this car is $26031 (with out the dest. fee which is $605) . Do you think I'll be able to get anything better than this?? in FL?
