Default Looking for a Z and need advice.

Hello all. I have been looking at the Z for awhile and I love it. I went to the LA auto show and fell in love again. Went down to my local dealer and was shocked to see a 4k premium on the cars. Is this for real? Are there people still willing to pay oversticker for a car? Help need advice, I want one bad.

Thanks

It might be a bit of a drive from the south bay, but try Performance Nissan in Daurte (605 / 210). I was talking to Ken, the fleet manager, about buying a 06 enthusiast and he was very helpful.

Think most on average go for $1500 below MRSP... You sure they didnt have custom rims or Nismo parts installed on the car? Could account for the extra $$$

That makes sense. I coudn't see any way in hell a dealer would try to charge more than sticker. Invoice, sure, sticker, nah.

Re: Paying under sticker? Dude, of course you should pay under sticker. To give you an idea of the wiggle room you have, I got out the door a couple of weeks ago for a couple hundred under sticker. Doesn't sound great, but I got a Nismo exhaust + install, clearbra, wheel well sound treatment, and wheel locks thrown in on top of the stickered options, and of course there was 3% tax, tag fee, destination, and processing fees all in that price too. You can always get a deal on a car, you just have to be a little patient and find a guy that will deal with you on your terms not their's. Take some time to find out dealer's costs, hold backs, etc, and let 'em know you know how it is.

I find it very difficult to believe that anyone is attempting to charge MSRP plus $4,000. Post some photos.

I don't mind negotiating against a little high balling, but these guys are absurd. Take your money elsewhere.

No premium on Zs. You should be able to buy 1-2 Gs below MSRP.
