Default cant make up my mind

hey im getting out of my Lightning after 2 years of ownership and over $20,000 thrown at it. ive been wanting to get back into a car and something that gets more then the 10MPG that i have been getting the past year. my options are a 2002 E46 M3, any 350Z(still looking up the differences in the years and models), and an S4. haveing only 2 seats wouldnt bother me, thats why ive added the 350z to my options list. anyways im trying to find a Le Mans sunset with the burnt orange interior, coupe, 6 speed and the grand touring options sure are sweet.

is it worth it to buy the car from the dealer with all the options or buy a base model and just upgrade the brakes and seats myself??

anyways heres some vids of my truck and i hope i can make up my mind soon cause the warm weather is on its way.

Why go from a pick-up truck to a 2-door sports car to save fuel. Why not a 4-cylinder pick-up truck?

I'd go w/ the M3. I love the look of the Z, but M3 commands more respect. And wether you think it now or not that back seat comes in handy.

I just bought an 05 Daytona Blue Enthusiast a few days ago. I traded in my 01.5 Audi S4 for it. The m3 is a great car (i still own a 95 m3 widebody) but remember the maintance is very expensive (inspection 2..valve adjustment can run about $2000) and the oil changes are crazy (special dealer sold castrol). Also make sure with the 01-03 that the bearing recall has been done. My 01.5 s4 (stage 2+) was a maintenece nightmare..let see in 15,000 miles of owner ship i did (full timing belt & water pump, wheel beearings, ecu took a crap, rs4 clutch and lightweigth flywheel, and shift linkage). So i decided to go back to my japanese cars (parts a lot cheaper) since i previosly owed 2 300zx TT before the s4.

Don't worry about it. No one who posts in this forum buys a 350Z. All the buyers are in the New Owners forum. This forum is for wannabees.
